PERFORMANCE DRONE WORKS
Building and scaling the combat robotics and critical components needed to win the wars of the future.
James Slider, CEO of PDW
"Defense is not for the faint-hearted. We require partners that understand the long horizons and procurement cycles in our industry. As our lead investor, RHE not only understands that challenge but welcomes it."

From racing drones to rebuilding America's drone industrial base.
Today, PDW develops advanced autonomous systems for the U.S. military and its allies. Its 90,000-square-foot Drone Factory 01 in Huntsville brings engineering, flight testing, systems integration, production and fulfillment under one roof. In March 2026, PDW announced more than $110 million in Series B financing.
Four months later, it received a conditional loan commitment of up to $820 million from the U.S. Department of War's Office of Strategic Capital to expand domestic manufacturing of technologies and components for drones, robotics and autonomous systems.

NATIONAL RESILIENCE
The evolution of PDW reflects how RHE thinks about national resilience: identify strategically important capabilities early, bring together exceptional operators and technology, and build for the long term.
